Character formation in formal education cannot be separated from the involvement of school principals, teachers and students' parents who have a big role. plays a big role in determining its success. Apart from that, which is no less important, there are several hidden elements other than the formal school curriculum elements. The Hidden Curriculum is one effort that is often overlooked in character formation. Such as: managing teaching and learning activities, extracurricular activities, creating a learning atmosphere and school environment with character, habituation, and cultivating good values and ethics can support the success of the character formation process. This research aims to reveal the implementation of the hidden curriculum in forming the religious character of students at MTs. Babussalam Modern Islamic Boarding School, Teluk Bakung Village, Tanjung Pura District. with research sub-focuses including: (1) form of implementation. (2) implementation efforts, and (3) the impact of implementing the hidden curriculum in forming students' religious character. This research uses a qualitative research approach with field research and a multi-site study design. Data collection was carried out by visible observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques include data reduction, data presentation, and providing conclusions or verification. Checking the validity of the data is carried out by extending observations, increasing persistence, triangulation, negative case analysis, and member checking. The results of the research show that: (1) the form of implementing the hidden curriculum in forming the religious character of students at MTs. The Babussalam Modern Islamic Boarding School, Teluk Bakung Village, Tanjung Pura District, includes structural and cultural aspects which are implemented inside and outside the classroom, (2) efforts to implement a hidden curriculum in forming the religious character of students at MTs. Babussalam Modern Islamic Boarding School, Teluk Bakung Village, Tanjung Pura District, covering all efforts carried out by all educational stakeholder components, and (3) the impact of implementing the hidden curriculum in forming the religious character of students at MTs. Babussalam Modern Islamic Boarding School, Teluk Bakung Village, Tanjung Pura District, covering the values of aqidah, worship and morals.
