Upaya Meningkatkan Kemampuan Membaca Al-Qur’an Melalui Metode Thoriqoty Siswa Kelas VII Pondok Pesantren Modern Al-Fath Langkat

This study aims to determine the ability to read the Qur'an after the application of the Thoriqoty Method of Class VII Students of Modern Islamic Boarding School Al-Fath Langkat. This research is included in class action research (Action Research). This study uses a type of collaborative model, namely researchers with Tahfidzul Qur'an study field teachers in class VII of the Modern Islamic Boarding School Al-Fath Langkat. The subjects in Classroom Action Research are class VII students of Modern Islamic Boarding School Al-Fath Langkat with a total of 24 students. the instruments in this researcher are observation sheets and tests in accordance with research procedures by observing cycle I, cycle II and cycle III. The ability to read the Qur'an of Class VII students in Tahfidzul Qur'an subjects before using the Thoriqoty method is still relatively low. It can be seen from the students' scores that out of 24 only 3 students are skilled in reading the Qur'an or 8.4%. While 21 students have not been skilled in reading the Qur'an or 91.6. While in this study it can be declared classically complete if students are skilled in reading the Qur'an reaching 75%. The application of Thoriqoty method can be implemented well through three cycles. This can be seen through the activities carried out by teachers and students in cycle I, cycle II and cycle IIII have increased. The results of teacher observations in cycle I were 37.5% then became 69.66 in cycle II and in cycle III reached 91.6%. Likewise, in the observation of student activity which initially in cycle I reached a score of 33 then increased to 37 in cycle II and in cycle III increased again to 37. After the application of the Thoriqoty method, the ability to read Al-Qur'an of students has increased, this can be seen from the results of the pre-cycle test which only reached an average score of 8.4% (less) then increased in cycle I to 37.5% (less) then in cycle II increased again to 69.66% (sufficient) and in cycle III increased again to 96.6 & (good). Therefore, it is concluded that the use of the Thoriqoty method can improve students' ability to read the Qur'an.
