Abstract
The background of this research is that based on the identity of the research conducted at the research
location, namely: 1) The level of understanding of the science of recitation is still low in class VIII students at Mts Kasratussa'adah 2) The low learning outcomes of students who are not yet complete 3) No learning methods have been found appropriate: The purpose of conducting this research is: to determine the level of understanding of student learning outcomes in the Al-Qur’an Hadith subject matter of tajwid, tajwid subject matter on the law of mad 'iwadh, mad layyin and mad'aridh lissukun before and after using the qira learning method 'heart. This research was conducted in the form of classroom action research, in accordance with the selected research, namely classroom action research, this research is an action research model in the form of one cycle to the next cycle. Using the qira'ati method in the learning process of the Qur'an and hadith in improving tajwid learning can improve student learning outcomes. After applying the qira'ati method in the learning process, student learning outcomes have increased. Compared to student learning outcomes in the pre-test that get results. In cycle I, student learning outcomes increased especially with the implementation of cycle II and cycle III. And this means that the qira'ati method is very effective for use in learning to increase student understanding.
