Islamic character education is a process of instilling noble moral values based on Islamic teachings so that students develop a religious personality, good character, and the ability to apply these values in their daily lives. In the context of formal education, schools play a crucial role not only as institutions for transferring knowledge but also as places for shaping students’ character and morals. One of the strategies that can be employed is through structured religious activities designed to instill Islamic values. This research uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. The subjects of the study include the principal, teachers, and students of Yaspen Mulia School. Data were collected through observations of religious activities, in-depth 3interviews with school stakeholders, and documentation of various activities related to Islamic character development. Data analysis was conducted interactively through stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results show that the implementation of Islamic character education at Yaspen Mulia School is carried out through various religious activities, including performing Dhuha and Dhuhr prayers in congregation, reciting the Qur’an (tadarus) before lessons begin, joint prayers, commemorations of Islamic holidays, and religion-based extracurricular programs. These activities have proven effective in instilling values of religiosity, discipline, responsibility, social care, and a spirit of togetherness among students. Teachers play an active role as role models and motivators in encouraging students to consistently engage in religious practices. The challenges faced include some students who still lack discipline and have low awareness in fully participating in religious activities. However, the school continues to make efforts to guide them through advice, enforcement of school rules, and personal approaches. Therefore, it can be concluded that religious activities at Yaspen Mulia School serve as a strategic instrument for implementing Islamic character education. The school’s efforts not only provide religious experiences but also foster real behaviors aligned with Islamic values. This study is expected to contribute to the development of character education practices in Islamic schools and serve as a reference for improving character development through religious approaches in other educational institutions.</p> Muhammad Ilham Icha Agustriana Ilyas Juli Adelina Nst Meutia Salsabila Mutiara Fauza Maharani Hrp Nahdatur Rahma Nurul Hidayah Rahmahwani Copyright (c) 2025 Journal Millia Islamia 2025-11-20 2025-11-20
