Abstract

This study aims to analyze and evaluate the integration of digital-based technology in the Islamic Education (PAI) learning process at SMKN 1 Tanjung Pura. Digital technologies, such as projectors, computers, mobile phones, and applications like PowerPoint, WhatsApp, Canva, and YouTube, are integrated into learning with the goal of enhancing student engagement and participation, as well as deepening their understanding of the material. This research employs a qualitative method, often referred to as a naturalistic method. Data collection techniques for this study include observation, interviews, and documentation. The results indicate that the use of digital technology can increase student involvement in the learning process, but also highlight the importance of infrastructure readiness and teacher training in optimizing the potential of this technology. The study concludes that the integration of digital-based technology can significantly support the effectiveness of PAI learning, provided there is adequate support in terms of infrastructure and teachers' pedagogical abilities.
