This study examines the efforts to improve students’ learning outcomes in Islamic Religious Education through the application of the mind mapping method on the topic The Beauty of Building a Household in Grade XII of SMA Negeri 1 Hinai. The scope of the research focuses on the low level of students’ understanding of Islamic marriage concepts caused by the dominance of lecture-based methods that often make students passive. The objectives of the study are to identify students’ learning outcomes before the implementation of mind mapping, analyze the application of the method in the learning process, and evaluate the improvement of learning outcomes after the intervention. This research employed Classroom Action Research (CAR) involving 29 students of Grade XII Social Science 1, conducted in two cycles, each consisting of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. Data were collected using learning outcome tests and non-test techniques such as observation, interviews, and documentation, then analyzed both quantitatively and qualitatively. The results showed a significant improvement: in the pre-cycle only 55.17% of students achieved the minimum mastery criteria, which increased to 79.31% in the first cycle and reached 93.10% in the second cycle. Therefore, it can be concluded that the mind mapping method is effective in improving learning outcomes, active participation, and students’ motivation in Islamic Religious Education learning
