Upaya Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar Siswa Pendidikan Agama Islam Dengan Metode Picture And Picture Pada Siswa Kelas X SMA Negeri 1 Hinai

This study was motivated by the low learning outcomes of tenth-grade students at SMA Negeri 1 Hinai in Islamic Religious Education, where many students had not yet achieved the Minimum Mastery Criteria (KKM). The objective of this research was to improve student learning outcomes through the implementation of the Picture and Picture method, which is expected to create a more active, creative, and engaging learning environment. The research method employed was Classroom Action Research (CAR), conducted in two cycles consisting of planning, action, observation, and reflection. The findings indicated a significant improvement, as the average student mastery level, which was only 51.53% in the pre-cycle, increased to 62% in the first cycle, and finally reached 92.30% in the second cycle. Therefore, it can be concluded that the Picture and Picture method is effective in enhancing students’ learning outcomes in Islamic Religious Education, both in terms of material comprehension and active engagement in the learning process.
