Abstract

This research is motivated by the fiqh learning process, which is expected to have interaction between various components, namely teachers, students and learning resources. One of the most important is the existence of learning media. This study aims to determine the practicality of youtube-based learning media in grade VII in Fiqih lessons and the influence of youtube-based learning media in Fiqih lessons for grade VII at Private MTs Darul Arafah Pangkalan Brandan.  The sample used in this study is 32 students in grade VII of Private MTs Darul Arafah. This type of research is quantitative research, conducted with an experimental approach. This study uses a pre-experimental design method of one group pretest-posttest. The data collection technique of this research is by providing a questionnaire of student responses. From the results of data analysis, the value of the initial response of students obtained a percentage of 70.6% with good criteria. Meanwhile, the score of the final response of the students obtained 93.2% with very good criteria. To see the influence of youtube-based learning media on fiqh learning for students in grade VII of Private MTs Darul Arafah, the independent sample t-test was obtained which was 34.438 and the ttable value = 1.697. Because the tcount > ttable is 34,438 > 1,697, Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, which means that youtube-based learning media has an effect on Fiqh lessons for grade VII at Private MTs Darul Arafah Pangkalan Brandan.
