This research is motivated by the low speaking skills of Class III students at MIS Rantau Panjang, characterized by difficulties in expressing ideas, low confidence in speaking in front of the class, and learning processes dominated by conventional methods that limit students' opportunities to practice speaking. The study aims to analyze students' speaking skills before implementing the Role-Playing model, describe the implementation process of the Role-Playing model in Indonesian language learning, and examine improvements in students' speaking skills after its application. The research method used is Classroom Action Research (PTK) conducted in two cycles, with each cycle consisting of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection stages. The research subjects were 17 Class III students at MIS Rantau Panjang for the 2025/2026 academic year. Data collection techniques included observation, speaking skills tests, confidence questionnaires, interviews, and documentation. Data were analyzed descriptively, both qualitatively and quantitatively. The research results show that implementing the Role-Playing model significantly improved students' speaking skills. Improvements were evident in aspects such as speaking fluency, confidence in performing in front of the class, clarity of pronunciation and intonation, ability to respond to interlocutors, and creativity in expressing ideas. Students' activity levels and confidence also increased in each learning cycle. Thus, it can be concluded that the Role-Playing model is effective as an alternative for Indonesian language learning to enhance the speaking skills of Class III students at MIS Rantau Panjang
