This study examines the role of Aqidah Akhlak learning in developing the ethics and character of seventh-grade students at MTs.S Jamaiyah Mahmudiyah Batu Melenggang. The scope of this research focuses on the implementation of learning processes, the teacher’s role, and the impact of Aqidah Akhlak instruction on students’ moral behavior. The objective of this study is to describe how Aqidah Akhlak learning contributes to shaping students’ ethical attitudes and character development. This research employs a qualitative descriptive approach. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation involving one Aqidah Akhlak teacher and three seventh-grade students. The data were analyzed through data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal that Aqidah Akhlak learning is conducted systematically and integrates religious habituation, value internalization, and teacher role modeling. The learning process plays a significant role in fostering students’ politeness, discipline, responsibility, honesty, and social awareness. However, character formation requires continuous reinforcement and support from both family and school environments. In conclusion, Aqidah Akhlak learning significantly contributes to building students’ ethics and character as part of Islamic educational objectives.
