Abstract

This study aims to explore strategies for developing the Pancasila Student Profile and Rahmatan Lil alamin values in enhancing students' metacognitive skills in the Fiqh subject at MAN 2 Langkat. This research employs a qualitative method with data collection techniques involving interviews, observations, and repeated documentation to ensure data validity. Data analysis is conducted through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing.The findings reveal that teachers employ various strategies to integrate the values of the Pancasila Student Profile and Rahmatan Lil alamin into Fiqh learning. These include reflective approaches, case studies, open discussions, and providing real-life examples relevant to students' lives. Teachers also emphasize developing critical thinking, empathy, and responsibility, aligning with these values. This approach helps students understand the moral and social principles of Islamic teachings and connect them with national and humanitarian values.Students' metacognitive abilities are relatively good, although there is room for improvement. Test results show that 71.87% of students achieve mastery, while 28.12% have not met the Minimum Mastery Criteria (KKM). Students who succeed generally demonstrate the ability to plan, monitor, and evaluate their learning processes, as reflected in their deep and contextual understanding of Fiqh material.The development of the Pancasila Student Profile and Rahmatan Lil alamin values proves effective in supporting students' metacognitive abilities. These values, applied through reflective and contextual learning approaches, help students become more aware of their thought processes, enhance evaluative skills, and build critical and empathetic character. Thus, implementing these values not only improves students' understanding of Fiqh material but also strengthens higher-order thinking skills essential in learning..
