This study aims to analyse the leadership strategy of the madrasah head in improving the performance of education personnel at MTs Darul Arafah Pangkalan Brandan. This research uses a qualitative method with a case study approach. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation from the madrasah head and education staff. The results showed that 1) Leadership management at MTs Darul Arafah reflects the principles of effective leadership through participatory approaches, transparency, and continuous evaluation. 2) The madrasah principal succeeded in compiling relevant work programs and organising education personnel by providing clear directions and motivation through adequate rewards. 3) Continuous evaluation carried out by the madrasah head to ensure the success of the programme and the performance of education personnel shows the importance of involving all parties in decision making.
