Abstract

Irawati Rahma. 5177.1.21. Quran Memorization Habits to Overcome Learning Difficulties in Grade XI Students at MAS Jam'iyah Mahmudiyah Tanjung Pura Langkat Academic Year 2025-2026. Jam'iyah Mahmudiyah Institute. Supervisor I: Drs. H. M. Yunus Ismail, MA, and Nurmisda Ramayani, M.Pd. This study aims to describe the Quran memorization habits to overcome learning difficulties in grade XI students at MAS Jam'iyah Mahmudiyah, and the types of activities carried out. This research is a descriptive qualitative study. Respondents in this study were Tahfiz teachers, the Principal, and grade XI students at MAS Jam'iyah Mahmudiyah. Data collection techniques used were observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques included data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The research findings explain that the practice of memorizing the Quran to overcome learning difficulties among eleventh-grade students at MAS Jam'iyah Mahmudiyah is a highly effective practice for developing memory skills and facilitating learning, as memorization is also a way to improve memory. The practice of memorizing the Quran contains lessons that instill a foundation of faith, character, and worship in students.
