Abstract

Independent learning is a policy from the Ministry of Education and Culture Research Technology that wants to create a pleasant learning condition, both for teachers and students. Curriculum changes affect the learning process, because with these updates, learning methods and models become more effective and efficient, and improve the quality of education in Indonesia. In the subject of faith and morals with the implementation of the curriculum that has changed from the 2013 curriculum to the independent learning curriculum In implementing the Independent Curriculum, there are several problems that need serious attention, especially for the Aqidah Aklak Teachers who adjust the curriculum to subjects that are very much in line. MAS Ubudyah Pangkalan Brandan is one of the schools that implements the independent learning curriculum in the subject of faith and morals. Through the subject of faith and morals at MAS Ubudyah Pangkalan Brandan, teachers are able to apply the curriculum so that students as the younger generation can be directed to be active, creative and innovative according to their character. This study aims to see how the Problems of Teachers in Facing Changes to the Independent Learning Curriculum in the Subject of Faith and Morals in class X MAS Ubudyah Pangkalan Brandan. This research is descriptive using qualitative methods. Data collection techniques use observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis techniques used are data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Validity test using triangulation. The results of the study (1) Implementation of the Independent Learning Curriculum in the Aqidah Akhlak Subject in class X MAS Ubudyah Pangkalan Brandan was carried out, but the difference in curriculum focus caused problems in its implementation (2) Obstacles in facing the Independent Learning Curriculum in the Aqidah Akhlak Subject in class X MAS Ubudyah Pangkalan Brandan are student character and inadequate facilities (3) Efforts made by the Aqidah Akhlaq Teacher in dealing with Problems Facing Changes in the Independent Learning Curriculum in the Aqidah Akhlak Subject in class X MAS Ubudyah Pangkalan Brandan are participating in training and providing facilities for students. The researcher's suggestion for the principal and teachers is to provide training for teachers of aqidah and akhlaq, facilitate students in being creative, train their students and learn to understand the character of students more deeply, for students to be diligent and active in learning.
