Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of implementing the differentiated learning model on improving student learning outcomes in the subject of Jurisprudence at MTsS Madinatul Ilmi Lubuk Kertang, Langkat Regency. The research results show that the use of differentiated learning models has a significant influence on student learning outcomes. Based on the calculation of the hypothesis test using the t-test, the t-count value was 5.588 with a t-table of 2.7283. This figure shows that the t-count value is greater than the t-table, namely 5.588 > 2.7283. The results of the t-test show a significance value of 0.000 seen in the sig (2-tailed) table. This value shows a number that is less than 0.05 or if written in numbers the result is 0.000 < 0.05. This value shows that H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. The average student score increased from 61.82 on the pretest to 86.80 on the posttest, with an increase of 24.98 points. The N-Gain percentage of 71.18% shows that the differentiated learning model is effective in improving student learning outcomes in the subject of Jurisprudence. Thus, it can be concluded that the differentiated learning model is an effective learning tool for improving student learning outcomes in the subject of Jurisprudence.
