Abstract

This research is motivated by teaching materials in differentiated learning according to the circumstances and abilities of students in the fiqh subject of MTs Negeri 1 Langkat students. This study aims to determine the implementation of teaching materials in differentiated learning in fiqh subjects for grade VIII students at MTs Negeri 1 Langkat. This type of research is a field research with a qualitative approach. The participants in this study are the head of the madrasah, the teacher of fiqh subjects and 2 students. The data collection techniques used include observation, interviews and documentation. The data analysis techniques used are data analysis, namely data reduction, data display, and conclustion drawing/verivication. The results of this study show that 1) The implementation of teaching materials in fiqh subjects is designed and prepared before learning is carried out. The design and preparation of teaching materials is carried out with reference to the curriculum applied in schools, namely the independent learning curriculum. 2) Learning with a differentiated approach to Fiqh subjects at MTs Negeri 1 Langkat begins with the creation of teaching modules. Collaboration in making modules is carried out together with the MGMP Program, so that the modules produced are uniform and consistent at every level of education. In the differentiation approach, the teaching module includes a variety of learning methods that vary according to the material taught and 3) Teaching materials in differentiated learning in Fiqh subjects at MTs Negeri 1 Langkat after the teaching module has been designed. Teachers carry out learning practices according to the content of the modules, while in the use of teaching methods, teachers apply collaboration of lecture and discussion methods to make students active as a learning center. The learning media used is a power point in which there are also learning videos with the help of projectors. And in differentiated learning, teachers group students by collaborating according to their learning styles.
