Abstract

This study aims to determine the problems, causes, and resolutions in learning Fiqh at MTs Jamaiyah Mahmudiyah Batu Melenggang in the era of the Industrial Revolution 5.0. The method used is qualitative research with a case study approach, which collects data through interviews, observation, and documentation. The results showed that (1) the learning problems faced by Fiqh teachers were students being lazy to attend lessons, skipping classes, using cellphones, playing games, and opening social media during lessons. (2) The causes of this problem include the free use of the internet, the influence of online games, and dependence on social media. (3) Resolutions made by teachers include supervising the use of the internet, increasing supervision of cellphone use, variations in learning, and using interesting learning strategies and media. With these efforts, it is hoped that Fiqh learning can run more effectively despite facing the challenges of the digital era.
