The results of teaching and learning activities in initial observations, cycle I and cycle II. Indicators of increasing student understanding can be seen from student learning results before action, cycle I to cycle II. There was an increase in student learning outcomes from the beginning, the average score in the pre-cycle test was 72, the first cycle test was 79 and the average score in the second cycle test was 84, an increase of 5. The most visible obstacle is that students are not yet familiar with the talking stick learning strategy apart from other obstacles. Students are not yet able to express opinions in discussions, understand the concepts they read, do not dare to ask, answer and argue, get used to being active in teaching and learning activities. For researchers, having insight and practical experience in the field of research is a provision to become a professional educator. Furthermore, for schools, it is necessary to continuously develop internally by continuing to improve supporting facilities and infrastructure such as learning media, teaching staff, and more innovative school activities in the learning process
