This study aims to determine the implementation of the Gallery Walk strategy to improve students' understanding of the Islamic Cultural History subject, material on the Farewell Hajj, in Grade VII of MTs Ikaba Paluh Manis, Gebang District. The background of this study is based on low student learning outcomes, with only 48.28% of students achieving the Learning Objective Completion Criteria (KKTP) with a minimum score of 75 points. This study used the Classroom Action Research (CAR) method, implemented in two cycles. Each cycle consisted of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The study subjects were 29 seventh-grade students. Data collection techniques included tests, observations, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis included data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that the Gallery Walk strategy was implemented systematically through eleven stages involving collaborative activities among students. This strategy proved effective in improving students' understanding of the Hajj Wada material. The average student score increased from 66.72 points in the pre-action to 75.52 points in Cycle I, and again to 86.55 points in Cycle II. Thus, there was a 19.83 point increase in the average score from pre-action to Cycle II. The student learning completion rate also increased significantly, from 51.72% in the pre-action to 65.52% in Cycle I, and reaching 89.66% in Cycle II. This represents a 37.94% increase in learning completion. Overall, the Gallery Walk strategy proved effective in improving learning outcomes, conceptual understanding, and active student participation in the SKI (Skills) learning of the Hajj Wada material.
