Abstract

This study aims to determine the implementation of the use of interactive Quranic media in improving learning outcomes in Tajweed subjects, Subject to the Rulings of Dead Mim, Grade VII MTs Pondok Pesantren Hujjaturrahmah. The background of this study is the students' persistent difficulties in understanding the rulings of dead mim, which affects their ability to read the Quran accurately and fluently. This study used the Classroom Action Research (CAR) method, implemented in two cycles. Each cycle consists of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The research subjects were 26 students in grade VII-B. Data collection techniques included tests, observations, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis included data reduction, data presentation, verification, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that the implementation of interactive Quran media based on the Qara'a application was carried out systematically through eight stages: preparation, introduction, exploration, implementation, practice, evaluation, development, and follow-up. The application of this media proved effective in improving student learning outcomes, as evidenced by the average score increasing from 73.46 in the pre-action to 81.62 in Cycle I, and again to 87.23 in Cycle II. The student learning completion rate also increased from 53.85% in the pre-action to 69.23% in Cycle I, and reached 88.46% in Cycle II. The use of this media not only improved reading skills for the rules of dead mim, but also the ability to recognize and apply the rules of dead mim appropriately, as well as increasing student motivation, activeness, and cooperation in learning.
