Abstract

This study aims to increase students' interest in learning Indonesian language, particularly procedural texts, through the implementation of differentiated learning in fourth grade students at SDIT Ar-Ridha, Pantai Cermin Village. This research was motivated by low student interest, demonstrated by a lack of attention and active participation in learning. The research used Classroom Action Research (CAR), implemented in two cycles, each consisting of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. Data collection techniques were conducted through observation and documentation, using student interest observation sheets as instruments. Data were analyzed descriptively. The results showed that the implementation of differentiated learning increased student interest. In Cycle I, student interest began to increase, and in Cycle II, it experienced a more significant increase. Students became more enthusiastic, active, and engaged in learning procedural texts. Thus, differentiated learning is effective in increasing student interest in learning.
