Abstract

This research is field research which is motivated by the researcher's views regarding the discipline of student worship at MTs Amaliyah Tanjung Tiga. The aim of this research is to find out students' worship discipline and how the implementation of scout extracurricular activities improves students' worship discipline. In this research the author used a qualitative approach with qualitative descriptive analysis, and data collection techniques used observation, interviews and documentation methods that came directly from the sources or informants studied and were trustworthy. The subjects used in this research were class VIII students at MTs Amaliyah Tanjung Tiga. The results of this research show that the scouting extracurricular at MTs Amaliyah Tanjung Tiga is a mandatory program outside the learning process which is carried out every Saturday after the learning process ends and must be followed by all students with the aim of forming students' disciplined character and helping to develop students' character. by instilling values ​​such as discipline, responsibility, leadership and cooperation. The students' worship discipline is good, although there are still some students who are not yet disciplined, the students' worship discipline is like being on time when carrying out their worship without being forced by anyone. The implementation of scout extracurricular activities in an effort to improve the worship discipline of class VIII students at MTs Amaliyah Tanjung Tiga can help students to improve their worship discipline. The efforts made in the implementation of scout extracurriculars to improve student religious discipline are by combining religious values ​​with scout principles and being consistent in implementing them so that they become a habit for students. By integrating the discipline of worship into scout activities, students can learn responsibility in worship and religion while developing the skills and character needed in scouting.
