<p>Jurnal Kajian dan Riset Mahasiswa adalah jurnal yang ditujukan untuk publikasi artikel ilmiah hasil kajian dan riset yang dilakukan mahasiswa dan akademisi lainnya. Jurnal ini diterbitkan oleh Lembaga Peduli riset dan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat. Jurnal Kajian dan Riset Mahasiswa menerbitkan 4 kali dalam setahun pada bulan April, Juli, Oktober, dan Januari. Jurnal Kajian dan Riset Mahasiswa menerima hasil kajian dan riset yang memenuhi kaidah ilmiah dan teknis penulisan ilmiah. <p>This study examines the effect of using E-Book learning media on students’ reading interest in the Islamic Cultural History (SKI) subject at the ninth grade of MTs Al-Muttaqin, Tanjung Putus Village, Padang Tualang District. The background of this research is the low reading interest among students, particularly in subjects containing historical narratives that require intensive reading activities. The study aims to determine: (1) the implementation of E-Book learning media in SKI, (2) the level of students’ reading interest, and (3) the effect of E-Book usage on students’ reading interest. This research employed a quantitative correlational approach. The population consisted of 44 ninth-grade students, and saturated sampling was applied. Data were collected through Likert-scale questionnaires, observation, interviews, and documentation. The data were analyzed using validity and reliability tests, normality test, simple linear regression, t-test, and coefficient of determination with SPSS. The results indicate that the use of E-Book learning media is categorized as good, and students’ reading interest is also in the good category. The t-test results show that the significance value is below 0.05 and tcount is greater than ttable, indicating a significant effect. Therefore, the better the use of E-Book learning media, the higher the students’ reading interest in the SKI subject.</p>Aldi Farhan TanjungMuhammad SalehMarhan Hasibuan

<p>The importance of science learning in MIS YPII Tanjung Pura through the Mind Mapping learning method for students to find out their understanding of science learning so as to improve student learning outcomes. This study aims to apply Mind Mapping learning and understanding of science learning in MIS YPII Tanjung Pura. The type of this research is classroom action research with data collection tools of tests, observation sheets and documentation. Based on the research data, it is illustrated that the mind mapping learning model can improve student learning creativity. This can be seen in the results of the study, where before the research action was carried out, the average value of students in student learning creativity only reached 22.72% or was classified as not good. After implementing learning improvement measures through classroom action research (CLSR) in cycle I, the average student learning creativity score only increased to 67.05%, which is considered quite good. Then, in cycle II, the average student score increased again to 92.00%, which is considered good. The increase in student learning creativity from pre-action to cycle I was 47%, and the increase from cycle I to cycle II was 25%. Overall, the increase in student learning creativity from pre-action to cycle II was 71%. Thus, it can be concluded that the Mind Mapping learning model can improve student learning creativity in science subjects for grade IV MIS YPII Tanjung Pura<em>.</em></p>Nur Farah AzilaAhmad FuadiZaifatur Ridha

<p><em>This study examines the implementation of the Project-Based Learning (PjBL) strategy in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) to develop the religious values of seventh-grade students at SMP Negeri 2 Gebang. The study was motivated by the conventional and teacher-centered learning approach, which resulted in low student participation and weak internalization of religious values in daily life. The objective of this research was to describe the application of PjBL in PAI learning and to analyze its impact on enhancing students’ religious values. This research employed a qualitative approach with data collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The primary informant was the PAI teacher, while seventh-grade students, the school principal, and the guidance and counseling teacher served as supporting informants. The findings indicate that the implementation of PjBL, particularly in the topic of Rukhsah (leniency in worship), successfully integrated cognitive understanding with contextual character building. The strategy improved students’ discipline in worship, strengthened responsibility and cooperation, and increased spiritual awareness. The study concludes that Project-Based Learning is an effective strategy for fostering religious values through meaningful and experiential learning activities in Islamic Religious Education.</em></p>Mayang SariZaifatur RidhaNurmisda Ramayani

<p><em>This study aims to examine the implementation of infographic learning media in improving students’ learning outcomes in the Pancasila subject, particularly the material “Pancasila in My Life,” for fifth-grade students at MIN 4 Langkat. The research was motivated by the low student achievement caused by conventional teaching methods that limited student engagement and made abstract Pancasila values difficult to understand. This study employed Classroom Action Research (CAR) conducted in two cycles, consisting of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection stages. The research subjects were 21 students of class V-B in the 2025/2026 academic year. The results showed that before the implementation of infographic media, the average score was 71.95 with a learning completeness rate of 47.62%. After applying the infographic media, the average score increased to 76.33 with 66.67% completeness in Cycle I, and further improved to 84.62 with 90.48% completeness in Cycle II. Overall, there was a significant improvement of 12.67 points in the average score and 42.86% in learning completeness. The findings indicate that infographic learning media effectively enhances students’ understanding, engagement, and learning outcomes in Pancasila education</em>.</p>Khairil UmamAhmad FuadiUsmaidar

<p><em>This study examines the role of Aqidah Akhlak learning in developing the ethics and character of</em> <em>seventh-grade students at MTs.S Jamaiyah Mahmudiyah Batu Melenggang. The scope of this research focuses on the implementation of learning processes, the teacher’s role, and the impact of Aqidah Akhlak instruction on students’ moral behavior. The objective of this study is to describe how Aqidah Akhlak learning contributes to shaping students’ ethical attitudes and character development. This research employs a qualitative descriptive approach. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation involving one Aqidah Akhlak teacher and three seventh-grade students. The data were analyzed through data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal that Aqidah Akhlak learning is conducted systematically and integrates religious habituation, value internalization, and teacher role modeling. The learning process plays a significant role in fostering students’ politeness, discipline, responsibility, honesty, and social awareness. However, character formation requires continuous reinforcement and support from both family and school environments. In conclusion, Aqidah Akhlak learning significantly contributes to building students’ ethics and character as part of Islamic educational objectives</em>.</p>Azra KhairaAhmad FuadiUsmaidar

<p><em>This thesis is a qualitative descriptive study on the application of religious moderation in instilling tolerance values </em><em></em><em>in students at SMP Negeri 1 Gebang. So the description in this thesis starts from the problem of how the forms of development of religious moderation in students at SMP Negeri 1 Gebang? And What are the forms of religious tolerance values </em><em></em><em>in students in forming an attitude of tolerance at SMP Negeri 1 Gebang? This study aims to answer the focus of writing regarding the application of religious moderation in instilling tolerance values </em><em></em><em>in students at SMP Negeri 1 Gebang. The method used in this thesis is a qualitative method, because the data is analyzed based on existing facts without statistical analysis. The methods used by researchers in data collection are observation, interviews, documentation, and analyzed by reducing data, presenting data and verifying data, so that the data obtained is guaranteed to be valid and credible, so data validity is checked. The results of the study found that the application of religious moderation through three factors, namely intracurricular, co-curricular, and extracurricular, in its application forms values </em><em></em><em>of tolerance (such as: respecting and honoring students of different religions, respecting and honoring teachers of different religions, helping each other, visiting sick friends, not being arrogant).</em><em> The implications of this research include providing a reference for future researchers to further expand their knowledge about the application of the concept of religious moderation in schools. It can also increase motivation, especially for students or those conducting research related to the values </em><em></em><em>of moderation. It can also increase the knowledge of researchers regarding the application of the values </em><em></em><em>of religious moderation in schools</em><em>.</em></p>M.
