The teaching and learning process implemented by the teacher was still conventional in nature. The teacher tended to use lecture and memorization methods centered on the teacher (teacher-centered learning), while students acted merely as passive listeners. Such a learning model provided limited opportunities for students to think critically, interact, and independently construct meaning from the material being studied. As a result, the learning atmosphere became monotonous and less engaging, leading to a decline in students’ achievement. This study aimed to describe the implementation of the role-playing learning model and to examine its effectiveness in improving students’ learning outcomes in the Fiqh subject. The research method used was Classroom Action Research (CAR), applying the role-playing learning model conducted in two cycles at a senior high school in Tanjung Pura. The research subjects were 34 students of Grade X. The results showed that the percentage of learning mastery in the pre-cycle was only 30.3%. In Cycle I, the percentage of mastery increased to 45.5%. In Cycle II, it further increased to </em><em>87,9</em><em>%</em><em>. SAWIT SEBERANG https://jurnal.perima.or.id/index.php/JRM/article/view/naufal <p>This study examines the influence of parental participation on students’ academic achievement. The scope of this research focuses on the relationship between the level of parental involvement in children’s education and their learning outcomes. The objective of this study is to determine whether there is a significant and strong relationship between parental participation and students’ academic achievement. This research employed a quantitative correlational design. The sample consisted of 37 students selected as respondents. Data were collected through questionnaires and documentation techniques and analyzed using Pearson Product Moment correlation and t-test with the assistance of SPSS software. The results showed that the Pearson correlation coefficient (r) was 0.876 with a significance value of 0.000 (p &lt; 0.05), indicating a very strong and significant positive relationship between parental participation and students’ academic achievement. The t-test result (t = 10.41) was significantly higher than the t-table value (2.030), confirming the statistical significance of the relationship. The coefficient of determination (R²) was 0.767, meaning that parental participation contributed 76.7% to students’ academic achievement. The background of this study is based on students' low understanding of zakat material due to learning that is still dominated by conventional methods, resulting in students being less active, less interested, and experiencing difficulty in understanding the abstract and complex concept of zakat. This study uses the Classroom Action Research (CAR) method which is implemented in two cycles, each through the stages of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection, with research subjects of 20 seventh grade students of MTs Fatimah Azzikra in the 2024/2025 academic year. The implementation of infographic learning media is carried out through the stages of media planning, infographic presentation, student discussion and interaction, and evaluation of learning outcomes, by displaying infographics in the form of PowerPoint slides projected through a projector in the classroom. The material presented includes the definition of zakat, legal basis, types of zakat, mustahik, as well as the provisions of nisab and haul which are arranged visually, concisely, and contextually. The results of the study show that in the pre-action stage (pretest) the average student score was 72.55 points with a learning completeness of 55%, namely 11 out of 20 students have achieved the completeness criteria, while 9 students have not completed it. After implementing infographic learning media in Cycle I, the average student score increased to 78.40 points, with a learning completion rate of 70%, with 14 out of 20 students completing the task and 6 students still missing. Furthermore, in Cycle II, there was a more significant increase, with an average score reaching 86.55 points and a learning completion rate of 90%, with 18 out of 20 students completing the task and 2 students still missing.
