Perancangan Aplikasi Pembelajaran Interaktif Bahasa Inggris Sebagai Alat Bantu Pengenalan Huruf Berbasis Multimedia Untuk Sekolah Dasar
Abstract
The process of learning english for students at the elementary school level must be supported by adequate facilities and infrastructure and requires creative ways, outside of the usual or traditional ways. This study aims to design interactive multimedia applications, which enable an easy and enjoyable process of teaching and learning English for both teachers and elementary school students. The main method of the learning application design process is made by following the stages of determining the concept, target users, story ideas, storyboards, script design, cost estimation, and hardware & software supporting requirements. The object of primary school research in this study is general in nature, without referring to a particular school. The developed application design consist of the main menu page, the user menu, and four training menus that are interactive. With this application, it is hoped that it will have a positive impact on teachers who teach as well as students who are the objects of learning English in elementary schools.
