Hubungan Antara Keterampilan Numerasi dengan Kemampuan Pemecahan Masalah Matematika Siswa Fase C di MIS YPII Tanjung Pura
Abstract
This study aims to examine the relationship between numeracy skills and students’ mathematical problem-solving ability in Phase C at MIS YPII Tanjung Pura. The research employed a quantitative approach with a correlational method. The subjects of this study consisted of 60 students. Data were collected using numeracy skills tests and mathematical problem-solving tests. Data analysis was conducted using the Spearman Rank correlation test. The results showed a significant relationship between numeracy skills and students’ mathematical problem-solving ability, with a correlation coefficient of 0.603 and a significance value of < 0.05. The correlation indicates a strong and positive relationship, suggesting that higher numeracy skills are associated with better mathematical problem-solving ability.
