Abstract

The background to this research is that based on the results of observations in the class VIII Aqidah Akhlak subject at MTs Ikhwanul Muslimun, it is known that teachers have tried various learning approach methods but teachers still do not feel that learning is effective seen from the learning outcomes of their own students, especially those in in class VIII it is still not said to be successful because the students' learning outcomes are very low and have not yet reached the set standard grades or KKM. The KKM for the Aqidah Akhlak subject is 70. One of the alternatives proposed by researchers in overcoming the problem of learning Aqidah Akhlak for class VIII MTs Ihkwanul Muslimun students is by applying the Power of Two Method. The aims of this research are: To find out the application of the power of two learning method to improve the Akidah Akhlak learning outcomes for class VIII students at MTs Ikhwanul Muslimun. This research was conducted in the form of Class Action research. According to the type of research chosen, namely classroom action research, this research uses an action research model in the form of a spiral and one cycle to the next. The results of this research are: The results of learning the Aqidah Akhlak of students after applying The Power Of Two method in class VIII MTs Ikhwanul Muslimun, namely in cycle I, 27 students had a complete score or 77.14% of 35 students and in cycle II there was an increase, namely 33 students completed or 94.29%. In cycles I and II there was an increase of 17.15%.
