Abstract

The The Self-Regulated Learning (SRL) strategy is a variable used to improve the learning outcomes of the "Effort and Reliance on God" material among grade VIII students at MTs Swasta Ubudiyah Pangkalan Berandan. The subjects of this study were 25 students from grade

VIII. The research was conducted in two cycles, with each cycle consisting of four stages: planning, action, observation, and reflection. From the data analysis, the initial conditions showed that students in grade VIII faced challenges, as their learning outcomes in the chapter on Praiseworthy Character were low and far from the 75 minimum mastery criterion (KKM) set by the Madrasah. During the preliminary stage, the students' average score was 65.7, with a mastery level of only 28%. In Cycle I, there was a slight improvement, with the average score increasing to 66.9, and the mastery level rising to 32%. However, many students still had not achieved the KKM target. The research then proceeded to Cycle II, where a significant improvement was observed. The average score increased to 85.6, with 84% of students meeting the mastery criteria. These findings indicate that the SRL method implemented by the researcher effectively enhanced students' learning outcomes in the Aqidah Akhlak subject, particularly in the "Effort and Reliance on God" material, although the target of 100% mastery was not fully achieved
