IMPLEMENTASI MODEL VALUE CLARIFICATION TECHNIQUE (VCT) DALAM MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR AKIDAH AKHLAK PADA SISWA KELAS VIII MTS MIFTAHUL ULA PEMATANG CENGAL

Abstract

The Value Clarification Technique (VCT) Model is a learning method that aims to help students find and discover values that they consider good to face a problem by analyzing existing values that are embedded in the students. This learning model is applied to improve the learning outcomes of students' moral values in the subject of aqidah akhlak class VIII MTS Miftahul Ula Pematang Cengal. The subjects of this study were 37 students in class VIII1. In accordance with the type of problem, this study uses Classroom Action Research (CAR), this study was conducted in two cycles, where each cycle consists of planning, acting, observing and reflecting. From the analysis of the data obtained by the author, it is known that the initial condition in class VIII1 MTS Miftahul Ula Pematang Cengal there was a problem, namely the learning outcomes of students' moral values in the subject of aqidah and akhlak were low and far from the KKM set by the Madrasah. In the implementation of the pre-cycle, the average student score was 67.16 with a total completion of 54.05%. Then cycle I was carried out, from the classroom action research data carried out there was an increase in the average score in cycle I to 73.38 with a total completion of 70.27%. Continued to the action cycle II, in this action there was another increase, namely the average student score was 82.43 with a total completion of 91.89%. This shows that the implementation of the Value Clarification Technique (VCT) model can improve the learning outcomes of students' moral values in the subject of aqidah akhlak class VIII MTS Miftahul Ula Pematang Cengal, this is evidenced by an increase in the average value and an increase in the number of students who meet the KKM standard after learning using the Value Clarification Technique (VCT) learning model. Students who have completed have exceeded 85%, namely 91.89% and the average student score of 82.43 exceeds the KKM score of 70
