Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of using e-book-based learning media on the motivation to learn Islamic Religious Education of fifth grade students at SD IT Ar Ridha Tanjung Pura. The population in this study were all students at SD IT Ar Ridha Tanjung Pura. The sample in this study was class V-A with 23 people and class V-B with 33 people.

This type of research is quantitative research with a correlational approach used. The sampling method is a purposive sample, namely a technique for determining samples with special considerations so that they are worthy of being used as samples. The data collection methods used by researchers are observation, interviews, questionnaires and documentation. The collected data was analyzed using statistical analysis techniques, namely the product moment correlation test.

The results of hypothesis testing using correlation analysis show that for 54 degrees of freedom at a significance level of 5%, a value of 0.2632 is obtained and at a significance level of 1%, a value of 0.3415 is obtained. Next, comparing "rxy" with "rt" as is known, the value obtained is 0.4005, while rt is 0.2632 and 0.3415 respectively. Thus, rxy or "r" calculated by the observer (ro) is greater than "r" table (rt), then the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted and the null hypothesis (Ho) is rejected. Thus, it can be concluded that there is a positive influence between the use of e-book-based learning media (variable x) and learning motivation (variable y).
