Strategi Kepala Madrasah Dalam mengembangkan Program Tahfiz di MTs Swasta Darul Ilmi Pangkalan Berandan

Abstract

Increasing the quality of competitiveness is an activity in which the development of programs by madrasah principals, educators, and program quality. Through the program development strategy, Madrasah Tsanawiyah Swasta Darul Ilmi Pangkalan Beradan is expected to provide an increase in the quality of Madrasah Tsanawiyah Swasta Darul Ilmi in the community. The research objectives were to: (1) explain what components were developed in the Tahfidz program at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Swasta Darul Ilmi Pangkalan Beradan in increasing competitiveness, (2) explain the program development strategy at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Swasta Darul Ilmi Pangkalan Beradan in increasing competitiveness , (3) explains the impact of program development for students Madrasah Tsanawiyah Swasta Darul Ilmi Pangkalan Beradan. This study used a qualitative approach with analytical descriptions, namely, a narrative description of the subject's behavioral processes in accordance with the problem under study. The research design used an observational case study related to the curriculum development strategy at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Darul Yatama Pangkala Berandan. Data collection techniques are: (1) in-depth interviews, (2) observation, (3) documentation study.. The findings of research at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Swasta Darul Yatama Pangkalan Beradan are (1) the components of the development of the Tahfidz Al-quran program include a). Planning for learning tahfidz Al-quran b). Implementation of learning tahfdz Al-quran c). Evaluation of learning tahfidz Al-quran. (2) the development strategy of the Tahfidz Al-quran program includes a). Development at the institutional level, which includes formulating institutional goals, determining program content and structure b). Program development for each lesson, c). development of learning programs in the classroom. (3) The impact of program development has an important effect on shaping the character of students in their lives, such as discipline, achievement, independence, morality and honesty. In increasing competitiveness in accordance with the vision, mission and goals, quality of learning, academic and nonacademic, the existence of the superior program of tahfidz Alquran enhances the noble character and achievement of students. Suggestions for the head of madrasah and stakeholders in Madrasah Tsanawiyah Swasta Darul Ilmi to continuously maintain and improve it even better.
