Abstract

This research aims to (1) Know the planning of marketing strategies in increasing student admissions applied at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Swasta Ubudiyah Pangkalan Berandan. (2) Knowing the implementation of marketing strategies in increasing student admissions applied at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Swasta Ubudiyah Pangkalan Berandan. (3) Knowing the evaluation of marketing strategies in increasing student admissions implemented at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Swasta Ubudiyah Pangkalan Berandan. This type of research uses descriptive qualitative research to research in depth and focus. The subjects of this study are the Head of Madrasah, Teacher, and also learners and parents of students as support informants. The object in this study is about marketing management strategies in increasing the acceptance of students at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Swasta Ubudiyah. Data collection is done through interviews, observations, and documentation. Furthermore, it is analyzed by means of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion withdrawal. The results showed that the management of marketing management strategy of Madrasah Tsanawiyah Swasta Ubudiyah was divided into 3 stages, namely: (1) The planning stage is which starts through a coordination meeting which is then formed by the committee and marketing tools and the formulation of marketing strategies. (2) The implementation stage of carrying out what was planned at the beginning according to the marketing strategy. All strategies are interconnected and related. The implementation of the strategy utilizes print media, and social media, as well as face-to-face. (3) The evaluation stage carried out to increase student acceptance is to use various strategies, all strategies have been implemented properly by all parties of the school.
