Implementasi Ekstrakurikuler Progam Tahfidz Al-Qur’an dalam Meningkatan Mutu Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri 9 Langkat

Every school makes every effort to improve the quality of its school, various programs can be carried out by schools to improve the quality in schools, for religious schools the tahfidz al-Qur'an program is a program that is closely related to improving the quality of schools. This research aims to describe the implementation of the tahfidz al-Qur'an program in improving the quality of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri 9 Langkat. This research is descriptive qualitative research. Data collection was carried out by conducting direct observations, namely: observation, interviews and documentation. The data analysis technique used is data reduction, data presentation and then drawing conclusions. The results of the research explain that the implementation of the tahfidz al-Qur'an program at MIN 9 Langkat was carried out after school, namely memorizing in the afternoon and murojaah in the evening. The method of tahfidz al-Qur'an is in accordance with what has been determined by Islamic boarding schools combined with the methods of teaching teachers. The development of the Tahfidz al-Qur'an program at MIN 9 Langkat has been going well. There are many things that are done to develop this activity, including having to memorize juzz amma even if you don't follow the tahfidz al-Qur'an program. The head of the madrasa at MIN 9 Langkat plays an active role in developing the tahfidz al-Qur'an program. Planning to develop extracurriculars was carried out well with related parties, the policies taken by the madrasa head also had a good impact on the development of extracurriculars in the field of tahfidz al-Qur'an at MIN 9 Langkat.
