Abstract

This study aims to explain the role of teachers in implementing Merdeka Curriculum Learning including the role of teachers as teachers, the role of teachers as mentors, and the role of teachers in educators at State Elementary School 050776 Tanjung Pasir, Pangkalan Susu District. This research is a descriptive qualitative research with an empirical approach. In this study the authors used collection techniques, namely by means of observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis was carried out with the stages of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of this study explain the role of the teacher as a teacher in implementing curriculum learning, namely where the teacher is not only focused on delivering the content of the material, but there are still many other activities that launch the teaching process to achieve effective and efficient goals. One of them is by the way the teacher must be able to create fun and conducive learning. The role of the teacher as a mentor where his role must understand about learning habits and understanding of the potential talents and interests that children have. And the role of the teacher as an educator the teacher must be able to educate and be an example for his students and be a motivation for children so that they are able to increase their motivation in learning.
