Abstract

Based on facts in the field, the existence of libraries has not received maximum attention technically, such as the availability of librarians to manage libraries in a modern and innovative way, limited media in the form of library supporting facilities and infrastructure. So this problem becomes an obstacle in library management. Researchers conducted research using qualitative methods to describe how library service management is implemented at the school. After conducting observations at school, interviewing research sources and documenting research implementation. So the researcher can conclude that library management at SMP IT Ulil Albab is the main key in implementing activities in the library. In improving the quality of the library, planning and working on several things that have been jointly planned, among others, by changing the manual system to a computerized system so that students can easily find the reading materials they need, this convenience also includes efforts for SMP IT Ulil Albab to foster students' interest in reading. in library.
