Integrasi Manajemen Komponen Pendidikan dalam Meningkatkan Mutu Kelembagaan di Pondok Pesantren: Studi Multikasus

This research aims to comprehensively explore and describe the integration strategies of six major components of educational management in an effort to enhance institutional quality within Islamic boarding schools (pesantren). The six pillars analyzed include: (1) educator and educational staff management, (2) curriculum and learning management, (3) facilities and infrastructure management, (4) student and alumni management, (5) conflict management, and (6) culture and environment management. This study employs a qualitative approach with a descriptive method through a multi-case study design across several pesantren with diverse characteristics. Data were collected via participant observation, in-depth interviews with pesantren leaders, teachers (ustadz), and administrative staff, as well as documentation studies related to institutional policies. The findings reveal that institutional quality in pesantren is not determined by the excellence of a single aspect alone, but through a harmonious synergy among managerial component. The conclusion of this study emphasizes that the implementation of quality-oriented integrated management is an absolute prerequisite for pesantren to remain relevant and excellent in the era of global education.
