Abstract

This research aims to evaluate the influence of the cooperative learning model, Student Team Achievement Division (STAD), on the mastery of Tajwid at TPQ As-Salam. The research design employed is a quasi-experiment with a quasi-experimental design. The study population involves 23 students from 2 study groups, and the sample is selected using cluster random sampling technique, with 23 students in the experimental group and 23 students in the control group. Data collection method involves a test on Tajwid mastery competence, and data analysis is conducted using the t-test. The results of the analysis indicate that the Student Team Achievement Division  (STAD) cooperative learning model has a significant effect on the improvement of Tajwid mastery competence at TPQ As-Salam. Therefore, it can be concluded that the use of the Student Team Achievement Division (STAD) cooperative learning model enhances the understanding and knowledge of students in Tajwid at TPQ As-Salam
