Penerapan Model Market Place Activity untuk Meningkatkan Pemahaman Siswa pada Mata Pelajaran Fiqih Kelas XI di MAS Yaspen Muslim Pamtang Tengah

The problem in this research is the low understanding of class XI MAS YASPEND Muslim students in Pematang Tengah. This research aims to find out how students understand the Fiqh subject class XI MAS YASPEND Muslim Pematang Tengah after using the market place activity method. The subjects of this research were 23 class XI Science students. This research uses a type of classroom action research. The data collection technique for this research is observation, interviews and documentation. This research procedure includes planning, action, observation and reflection. From the data analysis carried out by the researchers, it was found that the pre-cycle average score was 51 with classical completeness of 17.4%, the first cycle average score was and average score of 70 with classical completeness of 82.6% and the average score in cycle II, namely 79 with classical completeness 82.6%. Thus, it can be concluded that the application of the Market Place Activity method can improve students' understanding of the fiqh subject for class XI MAS YASPEND Muslim Pematang Tengah students.
