Peran Kepala Madrasah sebagai Supervisor dalam Meningkatkan Profesionalisme Guru di Madrasah Aliyah Pesantren Taajussalaam Babussalam

School principals can increase the professionalism of teachers at the Taajussalaam Babussalam Islamic Boarding School, Padang Tualang District. The results of interviews conducted by the author show that the principal often shows a good personality to all teachers, students and the entire community living around the school. The principal's role as a supervisor tries as much as possible in carrying out supervision activities. The type of research carried out in this research is qualitative. Meanwhile, information collection is carried out through observation, interviews and documentation. The research subjects in this thesis are madrasa heads and madrasa teachers. The results of the research are the role of the madrasa head as a supervisor in planning a supervision program to increase teacher professionalism at MAS Taajussalaam Besilam, namely by observing teacher performance after being supervised. The head of the madrasah analyzes or measures whether there is a positive impact from the supervision that has been carried out, because the evaluation is given to motivate teachers to further improve their professionalism so that teachers can find out strengths and weaknesses in learning activities.
