Abstract

From the explanation and research process carried out by the researcher, it is known that the story board learning model for class VIII students at MTs Nurul Huda Pematang Cengal is very well implemented because it is able to improve learning outcomes. students who can be seen in the implementation of the second cycle. Students' learning understanding is better by implementing the story board learning model compared to the ordinary or conventional learning model that has been applied so far. It can be concluded that the story board learning model is effectively used. Efforts to improve student learning outcomes in learning the history of Islamic culture in class VIII MTs Nurul Huda Pematang Cengal were successfully carried out by implementing the story board learning model in accordance with the plan that had been made. Efforts are made to actively involve students in every learning activity and explore the potential that students have so that students' creativity emerges. The increase in student learning outcomes by implementing the story board learning model is known through student activity sheets that have been created and show good improvement through application of the story board learning model. Increasing student creativity in learning also influences student learning outcomes which also increase. In learning, students appear more active and enthusiastic in following the lesson material provided.
